01What we make

Three programs, each its own thing.

Each works on its own. On one desktop, they share a wallpaper and a theme, and pass status and links between them.

02Where it came from

Atlas started as a task app.

The big AI companies now ship tools that do what it did, so instead of chasing them, we’re building something new.

The Atlas task app shut down on October 31, 2026, and the name carried over to the studio. The first three programs are Helm, Quartz and Mantle; their first Windows installers were published as version 0.1.1 on October 30, 2026.

If you used the Atlas task app, here’s what happened to it.

03How we work

Everything happens in the open.

  • Every line is public.

All three live in public GitHub repositories under GPL-3.0.

    Sourcehelmquartzmantle

  • Releases are on GitHub.

Each installer is built by GitHub Actions and published to the project’s Releases page, with its notes.

    NotesEvery release, by product

  • You can build what you run.

Each one also builds from the folder you clone.

    HowBuild from source

  • Issues are open.

Bug reports and questions go to each project’s GitHub issues. Pull requests aren’t accepted right now.
